The government funds schools in England to provide every child in Key Stage 1 (F2, year 1 and year 2) with a hot, nutritious meal at lunch time.
Harrison Catering and Shaw Ridge School
Our kitchen is run by a company called Harrison Catering.
Harrison Catering are a family run independent caterer that takes pride in the freshness and quality of the food they provide to our children. Their purchasing policy works to limit food miles and the majority of our meat is British.
Harrison Catering's objective is to produce healthy home-cooked foods, freshly prepared on site where possible and using fresh ingredients with minimal amounts of fried or processed foods. They aim to maximise access to fruit and vegetables and offer a choice of cooked vegetables, salads, and fresh fruit daily.
On a daily basis we provide a selection of meals including a meat option, vegetarian option, jacket potatoes and a variety of baguettes
Booking a School Meal
School meals can be booked via the Eduspot system. Meals should be booked prior to the day they are required, unfortunately we are unable to order meals on the day so please ensure they are booked in advance.
The cost of a school meal is £2.70 per day
When your child joins Shaw Ridge Primary School, you will be sent a link to the Eduspot system, which you can access via a computer, phone or tablet etc. Please contact the school office if you need to reset your password for Eduspot.
