After our recent OFSTED visit in March 2022 we were judged as a "Good School"
OFSTED report
When Ofsted inspectors visited our school in September 2016, the inspectors judges our school to be 'good'. They concluded:
'The culture of the school is firmly built on the principle of staff working closely with families and the local community in the best interests of all pupils.'
'Shaw Ridge School works well as a learning community of staff and families in which pupils achieve well.'
'A combination of approaches both in and outside the classroom is used in the drive to diminish the differences between the outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and those of other pupils with similar starting points.'
'The Link Academies Collaborative trust offers added partnership across it's partnership schools.'
With regards to safeguarding:
'You and your staff have created a culture of vigilance based on a good understanding of each individual pupil's circumstances and needs.'
